Our orthodontist and team at Gulland Orthodontics love our patients!
The American Association of Orthodontists® recommends a first visit to the orthodontist at age 7. In our offices, most kids this age do not begin treatment. So why have an exam this young? At this age, the first set of permanent molars have erupted, along with the permanent upper and lower incisors. An early visit allows our orthodontist, Dr. Gulland, to evaluate the developing teeth and jaws. Occasionally, there are problems identified that really shouldn’t wait, however, the vast majority of children this age will enter our complimentary Growth and Development program – Gulland’s Gang. This allows for periodic monitoring, so when a regular exam indicates that treatment is needed, we can begin at the most opportune time.
Gulland’s Gang offers perks just for its young members. Get a treat at each visit, enter contests in our office, receive mail from our staff, attend our annual Family Fun Skating Party and enter contests on our social media platforms, just to name a few.
Initial exams are always complimentary. If you would like to schedule an orthodontic consultation for your youngster, or even yourself, call us today at 724-981-3950 or 724-588-2235. We have an office in both Hermitage and Greenville, Pennsylvania. We look forward to seeing you soon.
